FAQ’s

Yes!  Every treat and pawstry is made from scratch in small batches.  Treats are hand-cut, and slow- baked in my kitchen.

We use all-natural, human-grade ingredients we buy at local farmers markets and grocery stores in all of our treats.   Most recipes contain only four or five ingredients, and you will recognize each one of them.  We never add preservatives or artificial anything. 

The ICING is a natural, yogurt-based icing.  It will harden when exposed to air.  This is normal and is safe for your pup eat.  It will soften when refrigerated and could stain.  We only use all-natural food coloring, so it’s possible for the color to fade with light exposure.  Even if it does fade, It is safe for your pup to eat when consumed within recommended time.  (See “How long will my treats last” below for more details.)  

Cakes, pupcakes, and pupcake bites will last 2-3 days if stored properly.  To prolong shelf life, we recommend you wrap and freeze cakes (cut into serving size pieces), pupcakes, and pupcake bites as soon as you get them and thaw them individually as needed. 

Beggin’ Bites, our signature crunchy cookie-like treats should last for one to two months if stored properly.  Beggin’ Bites can be frozen for up to three months.

One Ingredient Jerky will last for one to two months if stored properly.  Jerky can be frozen for up to three months.

Moisture and treats are not friends.  They do not play nice together.  You and your pup will be disappointed.     We slow-bake most of the moisture out of our Beggin’ Bites and Jerky’s but If left exposed to air or refrigerated, mold will develop.  Always store them in an airtight container in a cool, dark place..  In a cabinet or on the countertop should be fine.    

Yes!  We have several.  

Jerky — Choose from Chicken, Turkey, and Beef.  Other flavors are available seasonally,.    

Crisps – Choose from Blueberry & Coconut and Spinach Crisps.  Other flavors available seasonally.

Beggin’ Bites – Our signature hard, crunchy treats.  Grain Free Peanut Butter is a best seller, but any of our Beggin’ Bites can be made grain free upon request.  

Pawstries – We can make any Pawstry grain free upon request.  Just let us know when you place your order.

Yes!  While all of our ingredients are human grade and you probably eat all of them, our treats contain no sugar.  They would not taste like cookies and cakes you are used to.  Besides, your pups don’t want to share!  They want every last bite to themselves.
